The Macedonian language Adult Foundation Pathway program consist of 4 easy step by step self paced units. Each unit is a 10 week in duration of self learning program which is designed in a short period through supportive Educator and easy to follow content to get you from no Macedonian to communicative Macedonian level. You can enrol in one or in all four units as you wish and do it in your own time.
ABOUT THE PROGRAM
Our Macedonian Language Foundation Adult Program (Online Self-Paced, On-Demand) program is designed for adult learners who are not able to participate in our interactive, premier results-based Macedonian language course programs for individuals with no Macedonian or some Macedonian language capability. Also, it is suitable for native speakers who would like to develop and increase their understanding of the Macedonian language system (writing, reading, and oral fluency).
The program consists of 4 language units (a 10-week unit). In each unit, you will have access to teaching videos, interactive activities to review your knowledge of spoken, written, and reading skills, and access to tutorial sessions with your dedicated Educator. Normally, a unit takes up to 10 weeks of study of specific language content and communication skills to help you achieve your communication goals. Every two to three weeks, you can book a 40-minute language tutorial session with your Educator to ‘check in’ regarding your learning and the support required. Generally, three tutorial sessions are offered in each unit to support your learning and reduce any potential learning isolation. These tutorial sessions are voluntary in the self-paced program, but participation is strongly recommended and arranged on an individual basis.
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
The Unit 1 Macedonian Language Foundation Adult invites you to explore the application of introductory skills in spoken and written Macedonian to enable you to develop solid basic skills in recognizing Macedonian codified alphabet letters, spoken and written words, phrases, and interpersonal language gestures. Thus, the particular micro-language skills in speaking, listening, reading, and writing will assist you as a speaker in building a solid foundation for communicating in the language. Also, as part of the cultural stream, the history of the Macedonian language, the language geographical map, and etc. will be explored. In Unit 1, it will be covered as follows:
- The Macedonian Cyrillic Alphabet, recognition, pronunciation, spelling and writing
- Personal introductions, simple greetings
- Pronouns
- Places and cities
- Use of this/these
- Family and family roles (mother, father, brother etc)
- Numbers 1- 10 and 11 – 20
- Plural of nouns
- Age
- Occupations
- Use of in and on
- Use of verbs and coagulation form

This unit builds from the previous unit. Thus the particular micro-language skills in speaking, listening, reading and writing will assist you as a speaker to build solid foundation in communicating in the language. A brief outline of the learning structure is as follows:

- Booking hotels, making reservations
- For places to stay and visit for holiday
- Words associated about travels and accommodation

The Unit 3 Macedonian Language Foundation Adult invites you to explore the application of communication skills in spoken and written Macedonian to enable to develop solid basic skills in communicating in Macedonian language about every day themes. This unit builds from the previous unit. Thus the particular micro-language skills in speaking, listening, reading and writing will assist you as a speaker to build solid foundation in communicating in the language. A brief outline of the learning structure is as follows:
